Bolivia
Day 1 – Welcome to La Paz
Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Assistance with check in and briefing with our guide. Today is for acclimatization because there is 50% less oxygen in the air than at sea level.
Day 2 – La Paz city “urban trek”
Today you go in the cable car and cross the city with spectacular views! This day you will explore markets and back streets and participate in an andean cooking class. Buen provecho!

Day 3 – Lake Titicaca – Copacabana – Sun Island
In the morning you travel from La Paz to Copacabana passing through El Alto and watching a fantastic scenery of farms and fishing villages. Copacabana is a small town that has a pre-columbian origins and a number of important Inca ruins. In the afternoon, you will head down to the beach and take a ferry to the Sun Island.

Day 4 – Sun Island – Santiago de Okola
This day you board your ferry once again, this time in route to farming and fishing village of Santiago de Okola. this community is based in agro-tourism project, so you´ll be hosted by community members.

Day 5 – Santiago de Okola – La Paz
You return to La Paz city today. After breakfast with your host family you get on the road back to La Paz. Afternoon at leisure, optional activities are available.

Day 6 – La Paz – Rurrenabaque – Madidi National Park
Today you fly form the highlands to the heart of Bolivia’s Amazon forest. You land in Rurrenabaque and then you board our canoe and head up Beni an Tahuichi rivers into Madidi Park. We arrive at the ecolodge by noon and meet our hosts. You walk to see how the Tacana culture uses plants of the rainforest for medicinal uses.

Day 7 – Madidi National Park
Today you head off to the Cliff of the Macaws, one of the best places in Madidi to watch diversity of birds. You´ll watch not only parrots but can also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Amazon Basin. In the afternoon, you can either rest or choose an activity, like making traditional handicrafts or go fishing.

Day 8 – Pampas del Yacuma
The tour continues to the town of Santa Rosa. You will have great opportunities to see sloths, anteaters, birds, and a diversity of animals. Once in Santa Rosa you travel by boat to Las Tortugas Eco Lodge. In the afternoon you set off to a River Safari and will be able to see a high number of animal species along the river.

Day 9 – Pampas del Yacuma – La Paz
All early risers are invited to wake up early to listen to the Pampas come to life. After lunch, you return to Rurrenabaque where you will arrive at 15:30 approximately and take the flight back to La Paz. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 10 – Transfer to the airport
