Day 1 - Arrival in Sucre and visit to Tarabuco
Arrival in Sucre (from La Paz or Santa Cruz) and transfer to your hotel. Visit the famous Indian Market (only Sundays) in Tarabuco, where you will be able to appreciate how the locals exchange food, agricultural products and clothing. Lunch in a local restaurant and return to Sucre.
Day 2 - City tour in Sucre
Today, you will discover more of this beautiful and colonial city, including visits to the main museums, Casa de la Libertad (facade only) and the mail buildings and attractions of the city. Free afternoon, ask for our optional activities in Sucre!

Day 3 - Sucre / Potosí / Uyuni
Early in the morning, you will departure in private transport to Potosi (3 hours). You will visit the Casa de la Moneda (Mint house) and have a walking city tour to see the facades of the main churches, convents and also local markets. You will enjoy a typical lunch, followed by a visit to the Cerro Rico and mines. Following the mine tour, you will be transferred to the bus terminal and depart by public bus to Uyuni.

Day 4 - Uyuni / Eduardo Abaroa Reserve
TToday you travel south passing through the San Cristobal mining center, Villa Alota, the Valley of the Frogs and the minor lagoons: Hedionda, Cañapa and Chiar Khota, where it is possible to see three types of flamingos. Then, you will cross the Siloli Desert and will make a short stop to see the magnificent Stone Tree.

Day 5 - Eduardo Abaroa Reserve
A pre-dawn departure today so that you can reach the Morning Sun geysers for sunrise. You continue our trip across the lunar landscapes of the Dali Desert and stop to see the amazing Laguna Verde. In the afternoon, you make a slight northward turn passing by Paniso Volcano and the borax mine in Kapina, Zora Canyon and San Agustin, before reaching San Juan.

Day 6 - Eduardo Abaroa Reserve / Uyuni Salt Flats / La Paz
You depart en route to the Train Cemetery and Colchani. Then, you head north toward the Thunupa Volcano and Coquesa, from where you'll head part way up the volcano to visit a cave with mummies and have lunch with an amazing view out over the flats. Then, you descend and head out over the flats again, to the Incahuasi Island, for some giant cactus admiring and hiking. You return to Uyuni town and take our night flight to La Paz.

Note: During the rainy season (November-March) it may not be possible to cross the salar to Thunupa and Incahuasi Island. If this is the case, the tour will stay to the edges of the salt flats.
Day 7 - City tour in La Paz
Today's city tour of La Paz includes visits to the Valley of the Moon and a ride with amazing views by cable car. You will also visit the main square, colonial streets and local markets. Dinner at a local restaurant, which includes an Andean music performance.

Day 8 - La Paz / Coroico
Today you head to the Yungas Cloud Forest region, on the eastern slopes of the Andes. We'll visit a local coffee farm where you'll be able to see the different steps of growing and processing coffee. After the visit you return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 9 - Coroico / Afro-Bolivian community / La Paz
You will be visiting an afro-bolivian village where local community members will share their culture and music with us. You'll visit coca leaf fields and share knowledge about how the leaf is cultivated and used in the area. After a delicious typical lunch, you will return back to La Paz.

Day 10 - La Paz / Tiwanaku / Copacabana
Today you will visit the Tiwanaku Archeological site. Here, you will explore the cultures main temples, some of them still under excavation, including the Pyramid of Akapana and Kalasasaya and the inspiring Gateways to the Sun and Moon. After lunch, you will continue to Copacabana, located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Day 11 - Copacabana / Island of the Sun
You depart from Copacabana by private ferry today, en route to the Sun Island. You will make a short stop on the Moon Island to visit its ruins and learn more about the aymara culture that once lived on this mystical place. Continue to the Island of the Sun, where you'll have a typical lunch with an amazing view of the Lake Titicaca and the Royal Range.

Day 12 - Island of the Sun / Copacabana / La Paz
To reach the pier where our private ferry will be waiting you descend the magnificent Inca Stairway and Fountains. The ferry takes us to Copacabana where we'll have lunch before continuing on to La Paz.

Day 13 - Flight back home
Thank you for visiting Bolivia! Today your journey comes to an end and at arranged time we transfer you from the hotel to the airport.
